My Lola Zoe was forced to come home, specifically to Dumaguete City to attend the wake and burial of her mom . When Lola Zoe went back to the Philippines from Chicago USA, she insinuated to see me before she would go back to the US. So, we went down to Manila on 11February 2009 at about 9:30PM. We went first to Camp Aguinaldo to drop Tita Malou and Kuya Genghis; then we proceeded to laguna, at the house of Tita Yoyon. We arrived at Laguna at about 3:30AM.
This was my first long distance travel. Manila and Laguna were very warm places. Thanks God that Tita Yoyon got some airconditioning. My dad, mama, Ate Fatima and Kuya Francis stayed in Laguna for almost one day to rest. By 3:00PM of 12 February 2009, we moved to Lola Naida's house (BiƱan)via Southwoods exit of the South Luzon Expressway. We had our dinner inLola naida's house. I cried alot because the place was so hot/warm/humid. We met Tita Gigi and Tita Mean. After dinner we moved to Manila, somewhere in C5 where Tita Yoyon and Lola Zoila were waiting. Lola Zoila was very happy to see me. She cuddled me and sung her favorite baby song.
Tita Yoyon was alos very happy to see me. She is one of my Ninangs. We slept late. Lola Zoila woke-up at about 2:30AM of 13 February 2009 (Friday the 13th). She took me from mom and cuddled me again. Then by 3:30AM we proceeded to the NAIA international Airport to send off Lola Zoila.
From the airport we drop Tita Yoyon at C% then we proceeded to XCamp Aguinaldo at Tita Malou's place. Papa slept a lot to recover some energy because we would be moving to baguio City soon. After sourcing some fuel from his classmates (Major Lutch Carin and Major Rustia) we travelled to Ninong Madz place somewhere in Kalayaan Avenue in Quezon City. Papa transact some business with the graphic artists. Its all about the brochure and sticker for the PMA Football Club's 4th canteen Cup Football Festival. Then we passed by Jolibee for our lunch and we started our journey back to Baguio City via Edsa and North Luzon Expressway. We also passed by the SCTEX. That was a very smooth drive. We exited at Hacienda Luisita where we refueled at Petron, in Tarlac City. We proceeded forward and we decided to have our Dinner at "Razon's" in Urdaneta City. While waiting for our order, I cried and cried because of the humidity. Papa went out to buy my S26 milk. After eating our Halo-halo, we travelled again towards Baguio City. Papa decided to pass through marcos Highway. By 8:30PM, we arrived at our home in Navy Base.
That was my longest land travel. That was also a grueling and tiring one. Wheewwww!!!!!!
